Course Description

This course provides intense preparation for the CBAP® certification exam. The focus is on understanding the A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide), acquiring fluency in the terminology of the BABOK® Guide, and identifying the tools and techniques that are a part of a Business Analyst’s toolkit. Through discussion, comprehension exam questions, situational exam questions, and interactive question and answer review with a CBAP® certified instructor, attendees acquire the essential knowledge required to become a Certified Business Analysis Professional. This course aligns with BABOK® Guide Version 2.

Individuals seeking the CBAP® certification who desire a methodical exposure to the BABOK® Guide to master the Knowledge Areas required to pass the CBAP® examination.

Prerequisites

Participants should complete foundation Business Analysis courses before preparing to take the CBAP® exam and this course. Additionally, participants should be aware of the exam eligibility criteria established by the IIBA®, including at least 7500 hours of BABOK® Guide-aligned business analyst work experience in the last 10 years, at least 900 hours in four of the six Knowledge Areas, at least 21 hours of Professional Development in the past four years, two references from a career manager, client, or CBAP® recipient, and a signed Code of Conduct. The CBAP® Certification Exam Boot Camp is constructed to help those in the role of Business Analyst master the material needed to obtain the IIBA’s CBAP® certification. It was designed with the recognition that because of the specific requirements of your organizations, practicing Business Analysts (BAs) often have great expertise in some areas but would greatly benefit from the review of the entire business analysis field.
