Google Cloud Certification Training Description

This workshop is designed to help IT professionals prepare for the Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification exam. In this workshop, we review the exam guidelines and cover the main topics you may be tested on.  

The Professional Cloud Network Engineer exam assesses your ability to:

  • Design, plan, and prototype a Google Cloud network
  • Implement Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) instances
  • Configure network services
  • Implement hybrid interconnectivity
  • Manage, monitor, and optimize network operations

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the key Google Cloud networking components and services
  • Identify the different sections of the Professional Cloud Network Engineer exam and their weightings
  • Develop skills to design, implement, and manage Google Cloud network solutions
  • Learn best practices for securing and optimizing Google Cloud networks
  • Gain test-taking strategies and practice with sample questions

Prerequisites

This workshop assumes prior knowledge of Google Cloud and is not an introduction to Google Cloud. We strongly recommend taking the Architecting with Google Compute Engine and Networking in Google Cloud courses prior to attending this workshop.

Prior to taking the Professional Cloud Network Engineer certification exam, students must have experience developing applications and services that run on Google Cloud. The exam tests ability to implement and manage network architectures in Google Cloud, including using the Google Cloud console and/or command line interface to configure network services, application and container networking, hybrid and multi-cloud connectivity, and security for established network architectures to ensure successful cloud implementations.
