Curriculum Dean


Dan is ROI’s .NET & Visual Studio Curriculum Dean. He is also a Microsoft Regional Director and has been awarded Microsoft’s MVP award for ASP.NET, Connected Systems and Silverlight.

Dan is on the INETA Speaker’s Bureau, speaks at conferences and user groups around the world and has written several books on .NET such as Professional Silverlight Development, Professional ASP.NET 3.5 AJAX, ASP.NET MVP Hacks and Tips and XML for ASP.NET Developers. He also writes regular columns for Dr. Dobbs and DevConnectionsPro Magazines.

Dan has been in the software business for more than fifteen years. Dan insists on building quality courseware that is focused and geared toward customer needs so that students walk away with knowledge they can put to use immediately. When he’s not writing code, articles or books, Dan enjoys writing and recording music and playing golf and basketball. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science, Economics, Genetics, Biology/Zoology from Brigham Young University.
