This three-day instructor-led class introduces participants to the comprehensive and flexible infrastructure and platform services provided by Google Cloud, with a focus on Compute Engine. Through a combination of presentations, demos, and hands-on labs, participants explore and deploy solution elements, including infrastructure components such as networks, systems, and application services. This course also covers deploying practical solutions including securely interconnecting networks, customer-supplied encryption keys, security and access management, quotas and billing, and resource monitoring.

Networking in Google Cloud

2 DAYS
This 2-day instructor-led course gives participants a broad study of networking options on Google Cloud. Through presentations, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, participants explore and deploy Google Cloud networking technologies, such as Google Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networks, subnets, firewalls; interconnection among networks; load balancing; Cloud DNS; Cloud CDN; Cloud NAT. The course will also cover common network design patterns and automated deployment using Deployment Manager or Terraform.

Security in Google Cloud Platform

3 DAYS
This course gives participants broad study of security controls and techniques on Google Cloud Platform. Through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs, participants explore and deploy the components of a secure GCP solution. Participants also learn mitigation techniques for attacks at many points in a GCP-based infrastructure, including Distributed Denial-of-Service attacks, phishing attacks, and threats involving content classification and use.
