Course Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of Microsoft 365 administration by focusing on three core areas: tenant management, identity synchronization, and security and compliance. Students will learn how to configure tenant profiles, manage user accounts and application deployments, and implement directory synchronization utilizing Azure AD Connect and multifactor authentication. Additionally, the course thoroughly explores organizational security and data governance, teaching learners how to mitigate cyber threats using the Microsoft 365 Defender suite and enforce compliance through Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies, Microsoft Purview, and data classification labels.

Who Should Attend
This course is designed for persons aspiring to the Microsoft 365 Administrator role and have completed at least one of the Microsoft 365 role-based administrator certification paths.
Prerequisites
- Students should have completed a role-based administrator training collection such as Messaging, Teamwork, Security and Compliance, or Collaboration.
- Core IT & Scripting Foundations: A proficient understanding of general IT practices and a working knowledge of PowerShell.
- Networking & Platform Experience: A proficient understanding of DNS and basic functional experience with Microsoft 365 services.
- Prerequisite Training: Prior completion of a role-based administrator training collection (such as Messaging, Teamwork, Security and Compliance, or Collaboration).
